Grumble grumble
Jan. 15th, 2021 12:51 pmMy dw account got screwed up a couple of months back, and it seemed too much effort to bother with. But with the coming of the new year, I wanted to start up again and connect with people I consider friends. I’ve missed y’all.
I thought it would be nice to highlight some of the events of the last year. Two granddaughters were born, making 5 granddaughters in total from 5 sons. What the heck with all of these girls? God knew what he was doing giving me sons. I had brothers, no sisters. Ah well.
My youngest son graduated with a mathematics degree in April. He’s still looking for work in his field. I wanted to post a few pictures from this eventful year, but many pictures disappeared into the ether. I do wish I had a picture from the fires. One particular shot shows a black and orange sky at noon. Also would have shared the pic of the kid’s graduation picture. It tells you everything you need to know about my family. In the picture, he is wearing board shorts and flip flops. His community community college sweatshirt and then his university robes. In one hand is a pizza box, and the other a root beer bottle. It was hilarious.
Hopefully more to come before too long.
